The ESOMATEC measuring head protection protects GDM measuring heads from dirt, impacts, and vibrations during industrial use.

An integrated quartz plate shields the optical area from external influences while still allowing optical measurements to be taken.

+During operation, dirt and mechanical stress can affect the measuring head.

+The protective mount, together with the integrated quartz plate, forms an additional barrier in front of the optical section.

+This reduces the measuring head’s direct exposure to ambient conditions and can lower the maintenance effort caused by contamination or damage.

The measuring head protection is designed for use with GDM measuring heads. Versions for other measuring head sizes can be provided upon request.
